Shumei Chen
As an Associate Analyst, Shumei assists MIX’s analysts in MFI data collection and conducts analysis for MFIs in the Eastern Europe and Central Asia region. Before joining the MIX team, she interned at a D.C.-based NGO, Partners for the Common Good, where she assisted in the evaluation of the organization’s international microfinance investments.
Shumei was born and raised in Chengdu, China, and received her BA in East Asian Studies and International Business & Management from Dickinson College. She is in the process of obtaining her MA in International Affairs from the George Washington University. Shumei speaks Chinese.
