Ralitsa Sapundzhieva

As Lead Analyst for the Eastern Europe and Central Asia region, Ralitsa is responsible for covering more than 200 MFIs, managing relationships with networks and service providers, authoring reports and analysis and presenting at conferences for the region.

Ralitsa was born and raised in Sofia, Bulgaria and completed her B.A. degree in International Relations at Pomona College in California. She holds a Masters of International Development from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. Before joining MIX, Ralitsa worked on youth and civic awareness programs at NGOs in Los Angeles, Montana and Tirana, Albania. She speaks Bulgarian, Russian, German, and Spanish.
