María Cecilia Rondón joined MIX in spring 2008 as the Analyst for the Latin American and Caribbean region. Her primary responsibilities include collecting and analyzing financial and non-financial data on regional MFIs and managing relationships with microfinance institutions (MFIs) and other service providers throughout the region.

María Cecilia is a Public Accountant from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP), and recently received a Certificate in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) from the same university. She has experience on reporting and analyzing financial information from Comisión Nacional Supervisora de Empresas y Valores (CONASEV), a public institution focused on supervising and strengthening the Peruvian stock market. She speaks Spanish and English.
