MIX and the Multilateral Investment Fund are pleased to present the 2011 edition of “Microfinance Americas: The Top 100,” our annual snapshot of 100 leading microfinance institutions in Latin America and the Caribbean. As in the last two years, the rankings have been determined on the basis of the institutions’ performance in three key areas: outreach, efficiency and transparency.

В 2010 году сохранились высокие темпы роста основных показателей развития рынка микрофинансирования в Узбекистане. Рынок микрофинансирования становится отдельным сегмен-том рынка финансового посредничества, имеющим свою нормативно правовую и ре-гулятивную базу, инфраструктуру, развитую сеть участников рынка, профессиональ-ные ассоциации, и, особенно важно, устойчивую клиентскую базу. По состоянию на 1 января 2011 г. микрофинансовые услуги предоставлялись 116 кредитными союзами (КС)1, 35 микрокредитными организациями (МКО), 58 ломбардами, а также специа-лизированным микрофинансовым банком –Микрокредитбанком. Функционирующие в республике остальные 29 коммерческих банков также предоставляют микрокредиты на развитие малого и среднего бизнеса и являются участниками рынка микрофинан-сирования.
