2006 Annual MFI Benchmarks

The MIX Benchmarks published in the MicroBanking Bulletin use a peer group framework that draws on the full data set of contributing microfinance institutions (MFIs). In this 2006 issue, 704 MFIs participated in the benchmarks, the largest group of MFIs ever benchmarked. The spreadsheet is in English, Spanish, French and Russian languages.

This spreadsheet contains benchmark data on the performance of microfinance institutions around the globe. These benchmarks are the result for groups of institutions — peer groups — sharing common characteristics, such as region of operation or size. Click on any of the links to explore the performance results of these peer groups in a given area: outreach, financial structure, profitability, productivity or risk.
