CPR for Al Amana in Morocco

CPR for Al Amana in Morocco

Date:
November 2006

This is a sample of the Customized Performance Report (CPR) that MIX creates for the participating MFI. It is used by MFIs to compare performance against that of their peers at a one given point of time. Al Amana in Morocco generously agreed to allow us to use their report as a sample.

The Customized Performance Reports (CPR) provides managers and directors a tool with which to understand their institution’s performance, standardized in accordance with internationally accepted terms, adjustments and indicators, and benchmarked with the performance data of other, similar institutions.

Performance benchmarking is a comparative exercise that standardizes raw data and groups institutions to provide for meaningful comparative analysis. The account reclassifications, analytical adjustments and standardized ratios that MIX employs increase comparability between institutional data sets. The peer groups used to compare institutions provide the context.

Although CPRs are kept entirely confidential, several participants have given MIX explicit written consent to make these CPRs public.
