MBB Questionnaire

Completing and submiting this excel based questionnaire allows MFIs to participate in the MIX Benchmarks. MFIs that participate in the MBBs are eligible to receive free, confidential, MIX Customized Performance Reports (CPRs), which allow MFI managers and board members to benchmark their institution’s performance against their peers.

The MBB and CPR reports provide managers and directors a tool with which to understand their institution’s performance, standardized in accordance with internationally accepted terms, adjustments and indicators, and benchmarked with the performance data of other, similar institutions.

Performance benchmarking is a comparative exercise that standardizes raw data and groups institutions to provide for meaningful comparative analysis. The account reclassifications, analytical adjustments and standardized ratios that MIX employs increase comparability between institutional data sets. The peer groups used to compare institutions provide the context.
