The Microfinance Information Exchange has released new reports in Spanish covering recent developments in microfinance in Bolivia and Colombia.
The 2009 Colombia Microfinance Sector Analysis is the first report of its kind from MIX. This report analyzes microfinance in Colombia by loan type and examines the evolution of key indicators in the country’s microfinance industry. The report is based on data collected from 18 microfinance institutions (MFIs) in Colombia.
2009 Peruvian Microfinance Report Now AvailableThis year marks the 5th consecutive year of reports on Peruvian MFIs
The 2009 Peru Microfinance Analysis & Benchmarking Report is now available online in Spanish.
This year’s report includes discussion of the effect rendered on Peruvian microfinance institutions (MFIs) by the international financial crisis. Benchmarks are based on 2008 data collected from 60 MFIs and trendlines are based on 2006-2008 data collected from 35 MFIs in Peru.
