Executive Director Transition
Peter Wall, MIX’s Executive Director, informed the Board of Directors of his resignation effective June 30, 2009. The other Board Members join me in thanking Peter for his four years of dedicated service to the MIX and to the microfinance community as a whole. Under his leadership, we have improved our unique and powerful global reporting platform for microfinance, expanded our coverage significantly and become a stable, financially sound organization with a talented staff. Peter leaves us far stronger than we were when he came. We let Peter go with our best wishes and gratitude. The Board has engaged the executive search firm of Smith Bryan to guide us through the process of finding our next Executive Director.
